Important Notice of Current Text Messaging Scam

University Credit Union has been notified that a phishing scam involving text messaging is currently affecting UCU members. The text message indicates that their UCU ATM Card has been frozen. The member is requested to call 1-866-800-7062 to reactivate their card by entering the full 16-digit card number and their PIN. THIS IS A SCAM and one of the most recent forms of phishing attempts for personal financial information.

University Credit Union would never attempt to contact you regarding your account through text messaging. If you have been contacted by someone regarding your account, call UCU through our toll free number of 1-800-696-8628 to check the validity of the information.

This is an automated message from university CU. Your ATM card has been suspended. To reactivate call urgent at 18664074763.
